Volunteers making a difference
Volunteers make a difference, at the "Mill Creek Pull & Tree Planting" Event. The Grays Harbor Stream Team & City of Cosmopolis volunteers along with Grays Harbor Community College Forestry Program volunteers came out to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th. The volunteers learned about invasive and native plants and helped to remove any invasive species as well as plant native plants at the park. It was a very successful day with about 30 to 40 volunteers. Are you interested in being part of a team that assists in the care of Mill Creek, please reach out to City Hall and speak with Mayor Springer. We are looking forward to monthly work parties.
