The Cosmopolis Board of Adjustment.

Board of Adjustments handles various matters related to land use and zoning.

  • Hear appeals of decisions rendered by zoning administrators.

  • Interpret unclear provisions in the zoning ordinance and reviews requests for variances.

  • Decide on applications by landowners to permit buildings or land use which vary from the zoning regulations.

The Board of Adjustment is made up of 5 members, we 3 open positions available that have expired and need to be appointed. These are volunteer positions if you are interested in serving.
